O'Neal Adds Advanced Facilities Division

O’Neal, Inc., a Greenville, SC-based integrated design and construction firm, is launching an Advanced Facilities division that will focus on automated manufacturing, logistics and distribution facilities in the food, retail, and industrial markets. The firm is also adding Doug Karmel as Advanced Facilities Division Leader and Richard Gee as Business Development Manager.

“The Advanced Facilities division will allow us to provide new and expanded capabilities within the manufacturing, food and beverage, retail and logistics markets, as well as allow us to offer additional value to our existing clients. This division will specialize in complex, highly-automated systems that require intricate process design and customization,” said Kevin Bean, president and CEO of O’Neal. “Doug Karmel and Richard Gee bring extensive expertise to this area and will help drive the expansion of this new division.”

O’Neal currently delivers complex capital projects for a wide range of Fortune 500 chemical, industrial manufacturing and pharmaceutical clients. With the creation of this new division, O’Neal will focus on adding food processing, distribution and grocery, alcohol and beverage, automated warehousing and manufacturing.
