Rockwood Color Pigments Selects O’Neal for New Iron Oxide Pigment Plant

O'Neal, Inc., an integrated design and construction firm, announced today that Rockwood Pigments NA, Inc., based in Beltsville, MD, selected the firm to provide Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) services for their new, grassroots plant in Augusta, GA.

The Rockwood plant, expected to reach mechanical completion by the end of 2014, will produce synthetic iron oxide pigments used in construction, coatings and plastics. The new facility will be located at Doug Barnard Parkway and Dixon Airline Road near the Augusta Regional Airport and will create 80 to 100 jobs.
